We went to Stone hall castle on Friday, October 21st. it was really cool. Three things it is made out of is wood, copper and limestone. My favorite room was the princess chamber. There were different rooms including the master’s suit, servant quarters, and the wrenches quarters. It was an amazing opportunity to see what it is like to be in a castle. I would love to go back and try staying in the princess chamber.
A couple days ago was the first snowfall. I was excited to go play in the snow. Me and my neighbor went outside to play. We jumped on her trampoline, we had a snowball fight, and tried to make a snowman. Then we went inside and had hot chocolate. Winter is my favorite season because my birthday is in winter, I also like to play in the snow, and have hot chocolate! I don’t like winter when I have to shovel my driveway. I can’t wait until it snows a lot!
My favorite trip I have ever been on was when me and my family went to Disneyland. We went to Anaheim for 10 days. 5 of the 10 days we were at the Disneyland park. The other 5 days we went to the science center, we went swimming, we went shopping or we were just relaxing. When we went to Disneyland we went on lots of rides. My favorite ride was California Screamin’ or The Tower of Terror. California Screamin’ is a roller coaster, that went sideways, upside down, and had lots of drops. The first time I went on I went with my grandpa, my brother, Lyndon and my sister, Ava. Ava was almost to short too go on the ride. The Tower of Terror looked like an old hotel. First they brought you into a room, showed you a video of a elevator being struck by lightning. Then you then you went upstairs, they brought you into a fake elevator, then they closed the doors and you started to go up like a normal elevator. Then all of the sudden you drop, you keep going up then dropping then when you think it is over you go up to the very top of the building they open up a big window and you can look over the whole park it is beautiful, then they take a picture and you drop to the bottom. Then you can go out of the elevator. Later I was on the other side of the park and I could hear people screaming on that ride. That was one of the scairiest rides. My least favourite ride was the Ferris wheel. I didn’t like the Ferris wheel because the cart you were on swung back and forth, because each cart had its own track. You almost swung upside down. Also you didn’t have anything to hold onto. The food at Disneyland was really good! I didn’t have any meals out but I had popcorn, frozen lemonade, soft pretzels, and two churros. There were different flavours of churros, I had one normal and one salted caramel. I liked the salted caramel the most. I love soft pretzels they are one of my favourite foods. They had lots of soft pretzels there my favourite was the Mickey Mouse shaped one. They all tasted the same but I liked the shape of that one. The lemonade was good I got it right before a ride so I didn’t get to drink it all. My grandpa loves popcorn so he bought popcorn for us three times. It tasted really good. Disneyland was the best trip I have ever been on!
